Ceremony of Correction
The Ceremony of Correction is an event that is sparked through a gathering of the incarnates along with the desire for a new beginning of at least four. What happens after its started is the worlds and realities are born anew, and the incarnates die. The powers of Good, Evil, Balance, Law, and Chaos are then born into a new body, burdened on a new soul. Usually, the incarnates are born into the same realm.
Powers
A power, in this sense, is someone born as an Incarnate of one of Five Powers -- Good, Evil, Law, Chaos, and Balance. Sometimes, they are not aware that they are incarnates at birth, and only later realize it after a traumatizing incident, or running into another Incarnate. Incarnates, while championing their Power, are not necessary as their Incarnate. Good might have iffy morals, Balance may be disorganized or insane, Evil may side with the underdog, and Law may be a rebel. Chaos is the only Power that has a common characteristic among all incarnations -- instability, self-mutilation, and an insane ability to hide this from its fellow Incarnates. Chaos is oft the last found, Law and Balance usually the first. In some rare cases, an Incarnate can come into their power and Champion their cause without actually ever awakening the part of them that is the Incarnate itself -- its important to realize that there are two separate individuals within all Incarnates: the mortal soul and the Power itself. However, when an Incarnate soul does not awaken, it is shuttled to the next body quiet aware of itself and sometimes insane. Thus far, there have been five Generations of Incarnates.
